I.K. Brunel and Queen

Went to the Grand Opening of the Brunel Institute in Bristol today. I was greeted at the door by Brunel himself, and Queen Victoria. As I had always understood that Mr Brunel was a short man, I suggested that perhaps he had grown since the 19th century. He winked at me and said, "Nine and a half inches."
