a cold and frosty morning...

My 13th wedding anniversary today. 22 1/2 years together, we met in school (when he was going out with my friend and I was seeing someone else, oops!)

Breakfast in bed which was very nice and S took Alfie to nursery so I had a sort of lie in, well a not have to get dressed early anyway. sorted the house a bit so it would be nice for this evening and then a lovely wlak into town to pick the wee man up. Coffee with Cat cat and a rather slower walk homw with Alfie with multiple duck feedings and a bit of stropping but he did the whole thing with no pick up or buggy.

More house sorting and playing then an early tea and the poor bugger asked for bed at 6.30 when he normally goes at 8pm! both the log burner and the fire lit so we can choose which room to settle in, lots of candles, lovely flowers brought home for me and a true sign of love as I can't even stand the smell, a bootle of Glenmorangie single malt whiskey given to my husband.

Now sat finshing this with a glass of champagne while Stuart cooks me a lovely meal.

And then to order the new fish tank which is our proper gift to each other! Who said romance is dead ;-) ?
