On This Day

Thankful for oh so much, on this day and always.

Thankful for my sister, Sadie, who is the very best mother I've ever known. She is truly amazing. I mean, I always knew she was cut out for being a mom, but I never really saw how great she was at it until about two years ago. As her kids are growing up, she is becoming even more amazing. It's inspirational. I can't decide what to make of it, because she is kind of finding her way into new territory. It's instinctual for her, though, and I admire that she is also more determined than anyone I have ever known to master this and be the best.

She is the PTA president, a full time mom, a full time wife, the best daughter-in-law I've ever seen, a great friend, a wonderful sister, and she is filled with love. She has softened in all the right ways and stayed strong in every way necessary. She has grown into a lovely woman, for sure, and I'm so glad she is my sister.

I'm very, very proud of who she has become. She reminds me of what is important in life.

This is meant to capture her capturing her babies having a blast on Thanksgiving day. She is a great photographer to boot, by the way!
