that mince pies evaporate?

Apparently they do - there were 2 dozen here and now there aren't. The alternative is that we have a mouse in the cake tin.

This is the closest I can come to something festive in the face of all of the snowy pictures that have overtaken Blip. We still don't have any of the white stuff although it is bitterly cold - and no signs that it's going to arrive either. We are most disgruntled.
