Sewing on a snowy day

Sewing in the living room, with a cat for company. It's been snowing intermittently all day and I'd say it was at least a foot deep here. But that's OK because the stove is lit and it's quite cozy. I've got the machine propped up with books but still have a sore back from hunching over it...I'll need to think of a better solution.
