Snow point even trying to go in

It is rare so rare that I am quite lost for words . This morning was one of them. I have never seen so much snow lying round our house. I set off to work at 7:45. Four hours later I walked into the office. I shall spare you the details but it was actually quite an eye opener. Big bad weather makes for social interaction, I helped at least five people and when my car got stuck people came to help me. Cars and buses and lorries abandoned, huge branches broken under the weight of snow, slushtastic city centre, buses getting stuck in gutters, utter chaos.

During the night I was awoken by huge snow falls.

So 6 hours travel for barely an hour in the office.

This was the scene before 7am this morning. Quite amazing colours.
