an oddity

Something that is a symbol of destruction and death...placed so commonly upon my bookshelf. I practically forgot they were there...

The one on the left is a 75 caliber round, and the one on the left is a 40mm shell. I remember getting them from my grandfather years ago, before he passed...I don't quite remember the circumstances of it, or how he came to have them, but that doesn't particularly matter anymore. Most likely they were from the second world war, perhaps when he spent time scouting behind German lines...

My creativity was very lax today...I'll have to take some time to address that tomorrow...
