Waiting.....for Agapanthus Blue

I hardly had time for the camera today - it lay idle on the coffee table. I was out in the garden after getting endless loads (well it seemed like it) of washing on the line.

It was a hot day in the garden and after a little while I found myself working in the shade under the trees. I was pleased to have a gentle breeze drifting by. The ground under the trees is not unlike a forest floor. The soil is rich and damp with many seedlings of trees which have drifted with the wind or come with the birds.

I happened to stroll past Agapanthus Blue and notice that its biding its time, slowly and gently the tiny petals are starting to open.

I had a break in my day when I took Daughter E to the doctor. She has an infected spider bite. Her leg is badly swollen and is quite painful. The doctor assured us she will be fine in a few days time after taking a course of antibiotics - hope so!

I'll leave you with Agapanthus Blue while I go and tidy up outside, put my gardening tools away, bring the washing in and fold it and then I guess we'll do it all again tomorrow - have a great evening or day :))
