It's Beginning to . . .

. . . to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Our neighbors have been out and about this weekend making their homes look so festive. This is just down the street from us. I can see it from the front windows in our downstairs livingroom or in our upstairs office room. I think Christmas lights are so beautiful.

We received a little rain over night, but not much. The local mountains have a light dusting of white.

The conclusion of the 4-day weekend is here. While it seems to have moved quickly, I have enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday very much.

This morning at church we had our candlelight Thanksgiving celebration that we normally have on the Eve of Thanksgiving, but so many of the elderly folks don't drive at night that this year the leaders agreed to have the celebration on Sunday morning so everyone could attend. Lots of folks had taken digital photos of their families altogether on Thanksgiving having dinner, and lots of those pictures were shown on the big screen this morning so everyone got to see everyone else's extended family. That was fun.

I have a little bit of prep to do to be ready for students and this week's classes, so that's on my evening agenda, and if possible, I'd like to watch 60 Minutes.
