Thundersnow
It kept on snowing overnight which led to a lot of snow outside this morning, Natalie, Gabriella and I went outside as soon as we could to go an play on the snowskate in the park.
An unusual phenomenon happened last night, we had some crazy thunder and lightning here in Dundee. It's actually known as Thundersnow, it was actually some of the loudest thunder I've ever heard, the first peal that woke us up in the middle of the night made the house shake! Apparently thundersnow's sound is more localised as the snow dampens the sound.
It really was quite spectacular and was followed up by quite a few more peals, we even had a few more peals when we were out in the snow around 10am. This was a little disconcerting as we were out in an open space, generally the last place you want to be in a thunder storm.
