On a cold and frost morning
Brome and I were walking Boo by 8.15 this morning. Cold though it was, it was a beautiful morning.
By midday the skies were blue and the sun was shining brightly. We'd asked the girls to join us but they chose not to come to Richmond Curzon* with us to see Mike Leigh's Another Year. (We did the new Harry Potter with them last weekend so I wasn't feeling guilty about them not coming.)
It still felt very naughty to be going to the pictures on Saturday afternoon but I really wanted to see the film while it was on somewhere local. Glad we made the effort.
We popped into The Watermans opposite when we came out and then we were off home. I think we'll make Saturday cinema trips a more regular treat.
*I thought £8 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc was extortionate though, so didn't bother.
