Now we're snowing...

Bethany is about 6 months older than the girl that lives next door to us. They are in the same class at nursery but they've not really had a chance to play together outside of nursery and the nursery birthday circuit.

This, I always thought, was a bit of a missed opportunity but is probably borne out of all the parents involved not being the most outgoing of persons.

This situation is slowly changing but today Bethany and Ewan both inadvertently got a chance to have a good long play with the girl next door. Before lunch they were out in their front garden and as we were building our snowman, Bethany and Ewan were invited to help on their snowman. After lunch we went out to put the finishing touches and they came out again. I suspect she was annoying her parents the same way Bethany was me, to be able to go out and play again.

It was a wonderful day of snow filled fun.
