Now is the season to try and get a picture that will pass as a Christmas card.

My car is staying put today and all the inches of snow covering it can stay too.
Tomorrow I've got to try and find the sunniest part of the day, coinciding with road gritters, to take my car to the garage at North Berwick for front exhaust job.

Being snowed in can sound a bit romantic, but there are a lot of disadvantages.

Andrew dropped by to see if I was just a frozen morsel sitting at an unlit fire. So he was happy to discover me alive and kicking and we shared a cup of tea at my fire as I ate my Sunday dinner. We did have to go out and help push one car out of a 'stuck' position on the road outside though.
