Big Tree - little dog!

Megan is completely dwarfed beside my favourite tree. ( bottom left corner - thigh deep in the snow..............Megan that is!)

This is a magnificent Western Hemlock planted by a thoughtful Victorian gardener.

As Yoga Mamma said the other day.
The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago and the second best time is now!


I often sit quietly underneath its sweeping branches in all weathers enjoying the peace and tranquility

Spent the day c;learing snow and stoking the fires.

It is our AGM in the Village Hall this afternonn and I'm resigning as Chair after five years. We are having a cheese and wine party to welcome the new neighbours to the village.
