Cinders

We went shopping today at the K Village Shopping Centre in Kendal.

We were not impressed. We both preferred the old K Village which was housed in the old shoe factory and had a lot of history and some character associated with it..

They pulled it down to build a new, exciting shopping experience. I wonder when they'll start?

Therry wanted some boots.

While in a shoe/boot emporium, she spotted this slipper.

She tried it on, thinking she may be whisked away by Prince Charming.

It didn't fit, so she'll have to make do with me!

The shop assistant looked awfully confused as she tried to explain it was only a display item and not for sale.

She looked even more confused as Therry tried to force her double be-socked foot into it.

I wandered off humming a well-known "Adam and the Ants" number.
