Schools Out
We went to a few Christmas fayres again today two of which were at schools.
The first fayre was a fairly older persons affair where we just sat and drank tea and ate cake. We bumped into some friends there and had a natter. A couple of the oldies at the tea counter got a bit upset with us for asking for a cup of milk for toddler and after agreeing and charging for it spent a while complaining about my wife and the milk while she stood there next to them.
Honestly the aged of today do love a good bitch in front of your back.
The second fayre we went to was absolute carnage, kids and parents everywhere all fighting over each other to get a Ben 10 figure for 20 pence. We picked up a few bits for Christmas and got out all unscathed.
The third was a bit rubbish really. It was up some steps in a school so wife and I took turns to go in whilst the other stayed downstairs with the buggy and the sleeping children. On my childminding stint I wandered around the building downstairs. There is something weird about an empty school, mind you I am not sure how many of the kids at this one use the dinner hall, they are usually across the road, down the alleyway smoking fags when I see them.
