The old road and the early winter
This is the old road to Turnhouse, a hamlet on the west edge of Edinburgh, looking west into the central lowlands of Scotland. The last significant snowfall in 2010 in the lowlands was on 30th March. Less than eight months later and the lowland is snow-covered again - very rare.
