House for an Art Lover
The first snow of winter in Scotland, this is House for an Art Lover, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret Macdonald in 1901, for a competition set by a German design magazine. Disqualified for late entry the submission won a special prize for its' quality etc etc.
Before anyone slates the public sector any more, Glasgow City Council built the house in the 1990's and is today an amazing venue for conferences and weddings, and is worth a visit.
