Frozen Leaves

With the goal of clearer bird photos, I set up my larger camera at the window with a gorillapod, aimed at one of the birdbaths. Then the birds left.... Since it took me about 10 minutes to get it set up, the camera remained there and I took a walkabout with Smokey and the small camera.

After we flushed a deer in the woods, we became interested in this unheated birdbath. It's at the bottom of the hill on the edge of the woods, and as you can see, it serves no real purpose in the winter, other than as my blip for today.
