Walking to Lockleys Pylon

So up early(ish) today and out the house before 9....practically unheard of on the weekend!!

Drove up to Leura and headed off road (ish) for the first time in our new (ish) car, down a unsealed road to the start of the walk to Lockleys Pylon.

We hadn't done this walk before and it was a doozy !! The trail was fairly tight and over grown, through covered sections and then it just opened up, the view was fantastic !! Lots of long grasses, wild flowers and butterflies , it was great !! You can see more from the day here, it was tough to pick a Blip today as I took quite a few shots I was happy with......I wish every day was like that, having so many blips to choose from !!

Oh and we saw a nasty looking snake today too !!
