Black Friday

I caught a glimpse of these two children as I was rushing past a furniture store on Third Avenue. Needless to say they were happy to be noticed since their parents (obviously shopping for a couch or something) were no where to be seen. Today is "Black Friday" in the US, the supposed first day retailers go from being in the red to being in the black, or showing an actual profit on paper. I think it's all BS. I bought nothing today, but alas, it was not out of protest: Being underemployed, I have no money. On the bright side, there are plenty of turkey leftovers.
