Colour on a dark day

Driving towards Mohill today, I noticed this splash of colour in the dark woodland as the vibrant leaves grip stubbornly to their host. There is something very special about the colours at this late time of year.

The Autumn tonal remnants decaying under the low dark skies seem amplified.

On the tooth front, my jaw is quite swollen.
