Sparrow

So far I had only seen great tits and blue tits on the bird feeder. Today a group of sparrows has discovered the feeder. In this shot is a Eurasian tree sparrow I think. Looks better somewhat bigger.

Friday, another daddy day. And the first snow day of this winter! Nienke and Inge were in school this morning. Because Nienke, Inge and Ellis have all been coughing last night and during the day as well, I've decided to make this a lazy day for them. Ellis is sleeping and Nienke is now watching the second disc of the excellent BBC series 'Life', about fish and birds. Inge is playing at the table, allowing me a bit of time to post this blip. In half an hour we have to leave for Nienke's swimming lesson.
