Welcome Jack!!!

July 26, 2006.....a day that was probably the happiest day of my life. Our son Jack was born, a month and a half early. I ended up having an emergency C-section. After a difficult last few months of my pregnancy, the doctors thought it would be risking Jacks life, my life or both if we continued until my due date.

Jack was 5 lbs. 1 oz., and 18 1/2" long. Just a tiny peanut....but the most perfect baby in the world. Because he was born so early, his heartbeat was a bit irregular, his breathing was erratic and he didn't know how to 'suck and swallow' to eat.

So begins the story of Jack!!
