Snow Pole

The first gentle snow fall of the winter tempted a few of us out into the hills to enjoy a bracing walk and fine views over the River Forth. You can see the refinery complex at Grangemouth on the other side of the river.

It was a light fall of snow compared to the stuff falling elsewhere in the country.

The snow pole gives an indication of the depths that might yet appear - which will make the hill walk a very different prospect.

It was a great way to spend the morning though!
