Sinterklaas (part 1)

Tonight we celebrated Sinterklaas with a group of friends. We played a game with dice which goes as follows:

* Everyone buys a gift for nobody in particular (we decided to spend around 5 euro per person)
* Upon arrival deposit your gift in a sack
* Then the game begins, the goal is that everyone has a gift in the end. Who gets what is decided by a dice. During this game it is important to sit in a circle (or something like it)

If you throw:

1: You can take a gift from the pile or if the pile is empty everyone passes one gift (you can have multiple) to their left.
2: Pass a gift to the person on the left
3: Steal (you have no gift yet / anymore) or trade your gift
4: Give away a gift to someone of you choice
5: Pass a gift to the person on the right
6: You can take a gift from the pile or if the pile is empty everyone passes one gift to their right.

Tonight it took us about 2 hours to get the gifts distributed. This game is very exciting because after a while certain gifts are very popular (due to size, wrapping, weight) and some are not. So the goal is to get the gifts you don't want as far away as possible and obtain the gift you believe to be cool.

This photo is of Pieter who got an awesome giant universal remote. How cool is that!
