Flooded Path

Thursday tends to be a busy day for me so not much time to grab a picture. This one was taken less than a mile from home.

The interesting thing about it is that its a path between two villages but these days seems to spend the majority of the year under water as the level of the adjacent loch rises. I converted to monochrome as there was quite a bit of lens flare as a result of shooting into the sun, but its less noticeable in Black & White.

Tonight I'm off to judge the photography competition in Lanarkshire I previously mentioned. I'll leave the car engine running in case I have to make a quick getaway.
