Hibernation
Beautiful morning.
I took the dogs across the back field to the Rush Plantation, a mixed wood with thankfully a lot of the older trees still there but lots of new quick growing stuff aswell.
As we reached the gate I noticed a couple of ladybirds basking in the sunshine, then I noticed a few more, counted 16 just wandering around on the gate.
Then I spied this, as I looked further I noticed that every gap in the gate and the split fence post was cramned full of these little beauties.
I hope they survive, I shall keep checking on them.
I pity those that walk around with eyes closed to the wonders of our world.
