Texture

Texture is one of those things that can be difficult to use effectively in a photograph, I find the shots when you put you lens as close to the subject as possible i.e macro an effective way to use it. I think macro is a tool every photographer should have in his or his took kit of sorts because it has its uses. To get a lot of my shots I practice an exercise where as soon as I get bored of photographing the "stuff" in an area I do it all again very very up close and the results are very good.
