Me and My Mum

Mum and I were supposed to have a playdate today, at Adam's house. But Adam and his baby brother were both sick, so we had to postpone. When I was getting dressed this morning I was telling Mum that I wanted to see some animals, so instead of the playdate she took me to Palacerigg to see the animals. We saw sheep, chickens, a tiny goat, rabbits and of course the ducks. I was a bit perplexed by the fact that the ducks were walking about on the pond, not swimming it. It was very cold! So cold in fact, that Mum and I were the only people there. That meant that I got to go on whatever I wanted in the swing park! I wanted to stay with Mum, but she had work to do, so I went back to PapaNan's. I had lots of fun there in the afternoon.

Funny Things I Said Today

In the car on the way to PapaNan's, kept asking Dad "are we there yet?", knowing it's a joke.

Ordered Gran upstairs, saying "c'mon, upstairs, Peppa Pig on Papa's computer" - she said no, though

Asked Mum, "are not you coming?" because she didn't come with me and Dad this morning.

Told Mum, "Gran has bread for ducks" because we didn't take any bread to feed them.
