Christmas Comes Slowly to Monymusk...

Although the Christmas Tree is now up in Monymusk Square (its arrival being recorded here in my blip for last Sunday), a look at the Monymusk Website informs me that the official lighting up of the Christmas Tree and the other lights in the Square doesn't actually take place until 5.30pm (or thereabouts) this coming Saturday.

Meanwhile, here we see one of the 'basket'-type decorations that have been placed around the various lamp posts in the Square. This particular lamp post - outside the Post Office - also doubles up as the village bus stop.
