Windfalls

I spotted all these apples pears on the ground under a tree on the IM Marsh campus in south Liverpool today. I only had my little camera with me and took rather a dull shot but I've livened up the colours with a lomo effect and the sunshine on the grass shows up better now. It was a lovely afternoon for a colleague's retirement party, cold but bright blue skies.

Correction: someone pointed out to me today that these are ornamental pears, not apples!
