Trees

For the past seven years, Joe has fiercely opposed the buying of a christmas tree, on the grounds that the needles take until April to clear up. This usually results in a mad dash on Christmas eve to find the least scrotey tree left in the shops. This afternoon he went out and bought a magnificent spruce, while Bella and I had an afternoon nap. I wonder what's changed?
