Xmas in the Park

Today some friends and myself went for a walk around Hagley Park.
It is in the middle of our city of Christchurch, and is such a wonderful place for people to go. There is an 8 hole golf course, sports fields, tennis and croquet court, 2 small lakes,beautiful english trees,and a wonderful Botanical garden. Many people walk in the park and also with their dogs. This Weekend there is going to be a big Xmas Party with live music, and fireworks, and of course Santa Claus. So they are erecting the stages, and also the Xmas tree. Xmas in the Park!!
Not like in our Northern Hemisphere, we will hope for a warm balmy night.
