Limestone pavement

Away on a photographic holiday with Nick Jenkins staying near Malham Tarn. The first day gave us wonderful light; provided much for me to learn, not least of which was to check that you don't leave your camera on Manual Focus when you're assuming it's on autofocus.

Result ... a goodly number of the shots are not as I would wish them to be focused. Disappointing, but not a disaster, and it's just taught me another lesson to check everything meticulously. My excuse is it was so cold that I could hardly see through my running eyes ... but that's not good enough. Let's just face up to it. Today I blew it.

I'll put a few more shots up on Picasa when I have the time. Tomorrow's another day, and then Thursday threatens snow ... and we're quite high up here :-)
