40 days to go

The countdown's on!! After a botched attempt 5 years ago, Spain will finally become non- smoking in all public enclosed spaces on 2nd January. And I can't wait! The weather's never that harsh here and so my smoker friends really won't suffer too much and for most of the year we'll be on the terraces anyway. I used to be so much more tolerant, but this last year has tested me and there are so many great food places which I love but simply find difficult because of the smoke and so find myself eating 'out of sync' with the Spanish, which I don't like.
