Firemaster Jess

When Jess was a puppy, we used to worry about how close she would get to the fire. At times it seemed as if she wanted to be burned as she used to pad back and forward in front of it.

Now, however she is content to be the firemaster. As I was laying the fire for tonight, she came up behind me to supervise the work.
