Summer wont let go!

Summer is still holding on in the garden - we still have many roses blooming, the Rosemary is in flower and this delicate Scabiosa which I was determined to "snap" before the next lot of cold weather later in the week. I dug in the young plant in midsummer and it flowered once and then flopped in the drought but now it has come into its own with several buds yet to open.
