Watched the LENNONYC piece on American Masters tonight. Very well done.
It brought back vivid memories of the night he was shot in 1980. Double Fantasy had been out about three weeks and I was on the radio that night when the AP & UPI teletype alarms went off from the wire services... grabbed the story and then the rest of the night became a Lennon tribute on my radio show.
