Handball on the Curb

Always give your best. Never let someone convince you that your best isn't good enough.

When I was a little girl, it was very popular for kids to tell other kids phrases that started with, "You're so low, you have to...."
One of the potential endings to this saying came to mind today when I was grabbing a couple minutes to snap a few pictures. "You're so low, you can play handball on the curb". I remember thinking, as a child, how VERY low that was. I remember thinking how impossible it would be to play handball on the curb and that no one is THAT low! No one!!

Well, this is a curb. This photo is a curb. I was thinking today, "If anyone even WANTED to play handball here, it's too mossy. The ball would be totally out of control!" This is the very best photo I took today. It is good enough, it is lovely and I am grateful that I don't have to try to figure out how to be a better me. I am thankful for this beautiful little mossy curb.

Happy Monday!!
