A Lovely Day with Gran!

Today my mum came to visit and we had the best day we've had in ages! We laughed and joked and there wasn't a cross word... amazing for us! Baby Floriana loved playing with my mum and this is her having just woken from the second of two 2-hour naps she's been having since she got her latest cold a few days ago! This is amazing as I was in the kitchen and Flori sat quietly on my mums lap. Don't tell the hubby as she never does that with anyone including him. After a nap there's usually only one person Floriana wants and that's me. So she must feel very relaxed with my mum.

Madeleine was off school with a bad cold too but seemed much better come mid-morning. This evening has been a challenge to get her to go off to bed though as she's been trying to convince us and herself that she's too ill for school tomorrow! She really doesn't like school!
