Fired

This is the progression of the blip from 25th October and 7th November.

The piece has now has its bisque firing & is ready for the usual glaze firing. However, I've decided not to glaze this sculpture. Instead, I've covered it with a light coating of iron oxide which will give the clay a reddish tint & I've added some glass beads to highlight the detail.

Next week is the last class before Christmas, so hopefully it will be out of the kiln by then.
