Liz in the pub.

Went to see the specialist today. Had a gripe about lack of progress and we went for a pub lunch while they prepared medication for Liz. Good demonstration of arctic roll :- it was actually bread roll from the freezer, outer crust about 1000deg C but the centre was just solid ice......nice. The other interesting point was that main courses were £4 and the soup was £3:95. The main course was very good. (For £4).
Two years ago we visited this pub and had superb pheasant and it was packed, how times change!
