Christmas preparations begin!

This evening I have successfully found (almost!) all of the ingredients needed for my Christmas cake. This was no small feat in a Norwegian supermarket! So all my dried fruit (with the exception of the non-existent glace cherries, boo) is now soaking up the brandy in preparation for being cooked in the cake on Wednesday.
