How much is that doggy in the window?

We have been drawn back to the same pet shop window every day for three days now. Ever since they put a pair of pups in a glass display cabinet just inside...this is not fair.

Laura had a dog as a kid and would really like another one. We always said that we would get a dog when we retired and that it would be a rescue dog.

After seeing this little guy getting tormented by another little thing that looked like a rat we now want to make this a rescue dog...but I don't think the pet shop would welcome us turning up when they are closed both wearing ski masks.

Not quite the rescue dog I was thinking of! I think we might visit him again tomorrow...neither of us is keen on the idea of going inside as we know the dog is 650 euros and that is 649 too much for our budget. I keep telling Ms Monkeyhanger that it might not like boats and we couldn't afford the pet passport and jags etc etc, but she just looks at me with sad eyes and says nothing.
