Another day, another walk . . .

After a very wet morning, when we had outdoor things we had to do, it perked up no end by lunchtime. I took Ollie and Lucas and we went round the fields before the next shower came over. Suddenly there has been an outbreak of myxomatosis and there are lots dead and dying rabbits about up on the hill. Most of them seem to be blind and so are easy pickings for the dogs. Ollie will leave them when told to (in a stern and firm voice!) but Lucas has a much more developed hunting instinct and has to be dragged away from them and his attention distracted with much running and chasing by Ollie and me!

Have had a lovely few days as the Skipper is on a long weekend so we have had lots of time to pootle about eating cake, drinking coffee and doing crosswords together! Life can be great fun, if you aren't a rabbit . . . .
