More tales from the riverbank

Their eyes met across the wet and miserable car park- he admired her from afar with her orange neon leg warmers and she had noticed him too; he was handsome but with a quirky wheel- he was different than the other guys.  Each time the trolley collector man came they were whisked off in different directions and never got stacked into the same trolley park. One day they found themselves both parked up amongst the potatoes and cabbage. He grabbed the moment and suggested she might like to go on a date, but she was worried what the baby seat trolleys would think- they can be very judgemental of the seat-less gang. So he set up a private river side picnic, wooing her with a can of tango (he said it matched her beautiful orange eyes). After a while there was the first date awkward silence- she didn't want to come across as too chatty while he didn't know what to say first so there they remained, just staring into the waters rushing by.
