This Green....

...is Beautiful Copper Carbonate,
the colour you see on copper roofs
and bronze statues. It makes me happy
just to see it. And it makes the colour in
the wonderfull Barium/Copper blue (I mean
really really blue) green glaze....

...And this broken plate wasn't as bad news
as it looks here (though Megan did scream
a bit when she saw it). We made a negative
mould from it and so it became the Mother
of a thousand little ceramics that would not
have existed if the original hadn't broken....
