The Ayes Have It

Whilst today has been relatively chilled compared to the last few weeks, I did find myself with no blip to speak of this evening.

This shot has been planned for some time as my backup. I bought Halloween eyelashes for us all and was trying to line up everyone with eyes equi-distant and different coloured lashes. But, what's in the head doesn't always translate to the camera.

So I told my girl and my boy to have fun. It would seem that that involves biting your brother! My boy is so happy to play the fool that he doesn't mind at all, infact, he chose the pink lashes. My girl loves her brother dearly and will happily admit it, even when he is being a teenager. I love them both to bits always and especially when they indulge me in my hour of need and constantly make me laugh.

This morning my girl came downstairs and told us that her brother was re-enacting scenes from Aladdin utilising the various things in his room, and she was greeted with 'Who dares to disturb my slumber?' That was a big chuckle moment.

We also went out this morning to see the new 'Potter' film. At the cinema a family with younger children sat across from us. The boy, who was late primary age, was wearing his Potter specs and carrying a homemade wand. The girl, older, not to be outdone, had painted on Potter specs. Fan-flippin-tastic. We loved it. Its great to really get into something and take it to the max. The film? Thought it was worth a look, its so nice to be back with familiar characters. I love Dobbie XXX
