The eagle has landed

Busy day today. First trip was to the Christmas craft fair at Belgrave Hall, rather disappointing but we got to see the hall as well which was interesting. It`s one of the most haunted buildings in the country now that Borley Rectory has gone.
Next trip was into town to finish off Christmas shopping, I`ve done all mine except for my Mums` pressie, Chris needed a few things though.
Fortified by coffee and toast we then tackled the Winter Food Festival in the market place. Food glorious food, it was fabulous. Chris chomped his way through a bison burger, we then had fantastic fish cakes with potatoes roasted in goose fat, sampled beautiful Italian meatballs and bought some homemade biscuits, homemade diabetic fruit cake for Chris and some doggy treats for Bega.
Another coffee and came home. We where going to stay for the Christmas lights switch on but we where knackered by then and it was freezing cold.
